I have experienced about thirty-six years of collective experience in the hospitality field from contracting to consulting and being part of the operation field since 1992 were I started as Projects Manager at the Sheraton Cairo. In addition, I have worked to assist the Area Director of Engineering, which helped me to get experience in preparing the area reports. Throughout my career history, I have had great experience in dealing with hotel different projects with different parties from the designers’ side to the owner’s side and operator's side at the same time dealing with contracting companies as well as project management parties. I would like to use my experiences for developing and enhancing the overall hotel operation technically. I would like to present some highlighted achievements as below: • Participating in new Hotel projects preopening preparation and site visits as required by the Area General Manager Dubai for new Hotels.• Participating in four successful preopening hand-overs and commissioning for Sheraton Miramar, Westin Biuret, W Doha, and Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai. • Managing a lot of renovation projects and CAPEX projects over more than 20 years getting involved in all types of projects for all phases from the proposal to design and execution. • Establishing a system to be on 24 hours, getting all the required readings, and reporting any operating issues on the spot immediately with a follow-up on the spot. • Develop very detailed coaching for the ADOE to be ready to be DOE focusing on all the developments required areas.• Focus on following all the Fire Life Safety as per all NFPA requirements and this was very successful to get all the deficiencies replaced in W Doha & for Sheraton Grand. • Monitoring all the Monthly maintenance and operation reports • Creating the entire necessary SOP for all engineering activities. Then we create all the risk assessments for all these SOP to assure the safety of the team and the property. • Participate as a project manager for all the CAPEX and get all the required BOQ as well as the full specification details. Following all the stages of the Capex projects from the design until the full completion of the project and collecting all the required manuals and the AS-built drawings. • Preparing the budgets and forecasts for the Engineering and Utilities and creating awareness among the team for the importance of accuracy. Preparing a plan to control all the costs of R&M and energy consumption.
