The Accommodation Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, safe guarding, security and cleanliness of the associates' accommodation. Maintain a daily log book on the activities in the associates' accommodation. Responsible for the security in the associates' accommodation in a manner which ensures protection to the associates and property. Inspect housing areas regularly and check that no unauthorized activities are taking place or persons present. Inspect all floor levels and all other areas to ensure general peace, calm and cleanliness. Responsible for maintaining a proper inventory system for the associates' accommodation. Responsible for keeping control of compound linen, keys, equipment and other items etc. Implement strict enforcement of the house rules and regulations. Accompany the Director of Human Resources and Director of Security to check associates' rooms when required. Check that the main entrance is used only by the authorized personnel only, issue visitors gate passes during proper hours. Know the location of exit doors and fire extinguishers in the associates accommodation and direct associates in the event of any emergency. Participate in the organization of social activities for the associates. Handle purchase requisitions for the associates' accommodation if required. Take active role in projects and teams and be prepared to take leadership where appropriate or act as an advisor on any accommodation issues. Ensure all HR, Quality and Training notice boards in the Associates Accommodation are kept up to date and look well presented at all times. Assist in planning and organizing generic social and community activities.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of associates. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull a loaded work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
