Our hotel

With its many museums, peaceful canals and 17th-century architecture, Amsterdam charms every visitor. In the midst of this splendid city, you'll find the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel.

Our luxury hotel, located across from Leidseplein's fine dining, shopping and entertainment, is a 5-minute walk to many attractions including the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. What are your responsibilities?

For our Concierge Supervisor position, we are looking for a person who has a passion for working with people and who has excellent hospitality skills. Your main tasks will be leading the Bell stand and Concierge team and handling requests of guests (such as transportation, reservations, excursions etc.) You provide information to the guests about the hotel Amsterdam and the Netherlands in general, including special events and activities. In this position, you coach and motivate the Bellmen and Outside Porter. You report directly to the Front Desk Manager.

You enjoy working with people and work well in a team. You have great organizational-, communication- and leadership skills. You keep an overview at all times and are proactive in your daily routine. You can coach and motivate your colleagues to give their best and you have a high guest focus. To be eligible for this position you...

• Have a degree in hospitality & at least 2 years work experience with an international hotel chain.
• Have experience in leading & developing a team with strong focus on customer service.
• Are very well known with the local attractions in Amsterdam.
• Can communicate fluently in Dutch & English, other language is of course a plus.
• Able to multi task and solve challenges.
• Are willing to work morning and evening shifts.
• In possession of driver's license.
