Responsible for reactively managing Events sales opportunities. Manages the hotel's segment sales effort. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Manages daily activities related to social and catering sales objectives. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals.
Responsible for preparing all event documentation and coordinates with Sales, property departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of property events, maintain high standards of service; deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the guests and employees. The position is responsible for meeting planner and employee satisfaction; and the financial performance of the department. This position primarily handles events of average complexity. Ensures their property events have a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales. Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable. Read and analyze banquet event order in order to gather guest information, determine proper set up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Follow up on special banquet and catering event arrangements to ensure compliance.
Responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Provides service to our customers in order to grow the account on behalf of the company.
