25 Winners of Babyshop’s UAE-wide Model Hunt to Walk the Ramp in Fall/Winter 2011 Collection
Brand Ambassadors Picked from Over 6,000 Applicants Feature in Season’s Catalogue
Dubai-UAE: 25 September, 2011 – Twenty five brand ambassadors selected by Babyshop from its UAE-wide search will walk the ramp at a fashion show that will also launch the brand’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection, announced the region’s leading children’s retail concept.
The event will be held at Dubai Mall’s Fashion Dome on 7 October, 2011.
Similar to talent shows on TV, over 6,000 aspiring models between the ages of one and 12 went through a series of elimination rounds over 24 weeks to win the coveted title of ‘Babyshop Star’. Children were picked on the basis of their ability to face the camera, interaction skills, ease to showcase the clothing line and eagerness to be a part of the Babyshop catalogue and fashion event.
Following their selection, the winners worked with a professional photographer to put together their personalised portfolios. As Babyshop’s ‘faces of the year’, the finalists are also featured in its exclusive Fall/Winter 2011 catalogue. In the run up to the much-awaited fashion show, finalists are currently undergoing a grooming workshop on catwalk etiquette.

Babyshop’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection boasts stylish outfits and accessories that capture the season’s hottest trend - colourful checks and prints. It includes a range of scarves, berets, turtlenecks and soft woollen sweaters layered with warm leggings and jeans, giving young fashionistas a range of exciting options for every winter occasion.
