The city’s most popular destinations bring fashion to ladies’ fingertips
Manama, Bahrain, 01 March 2012 – Combining the best of fashion, style and beauty, two of the city’s landmark destinations have joined hands to launch an exclusive event that brings up, close and personal serving of fashion. Hosted jointly by Bahrain City Centre and the 5-Star Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre, ‘Taste of Fashion’ is a new monthly event where ladies and leading luxury brands can mingle over a cup of tea. It’s an intimate occasion where the latest fashion trends are on display, beauty tips and demos shared by the experts and invited guests can savour a light morning brunch with friends.
With over 340 international brands to discover, Bahrain City Centre has organised ‘Taste of Fashion’ with the intention to offer ladies with a more exclusive, and personal opportunity to experience the mall’s leading luxury fashion clothing, accessories, shoes and cosmetics retailers. Hosted once a month within the stylish surroundings of T-Spoon Café at the Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre, ladies can savour scrumptious pastries and a selection of rich teas and coffees while bring treated to the latest fashion trends for the month. Additionally, several lucky ladies each month will walk away with prizes ranging from a BD100 shopping spree at the mall, a PURE spa treatment at Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre and other indulgent experiences.
Taste of Fashion’ launch event on February 28, 2012 featured designer handbags from Tagz, a luxury store offering fine leather goods ranging from bags, wallets, purses and briefcases from international design houses. 30 invited ladies were treated to the latest collections from Longchamp, Red Valentino and Love Moschino as the collections were modelled and sampled, while nibbling on indulgent treats courtesy of T-Spoon Café at Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre. The next ‘Taste of Fashion’ will take place on March 27, 2012 and will feature exquisite designs from Carolina Herrara.
