Aegis Global Taps Cornell for Worldwide Management Training
Mumbai-based BPO firm to deploy online Ivy League programs for 500 managers globally.
ITHACA, NEW YORK, August 11, 2010 -- eCornell and Aegis Global, a global business process outsourcing firm, have entered into a three-year partnership to meet Aegis' training and development goals for 500 operations managers worldwide.
The Mumbai-based Aegis turned to eCornell for an online learning solution to develop core management competencies and provide customer lifecycle management (CLM) training for its global management workforce.
eCornell has developed a customized 10-course certificate program in Customer Management, with a curriculum of online courses from Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the School of Hotel Administration, and the College of Engineering. This unique online certificate program will provide an extensive blend of leadership, management, marketing and financial performance training to Aegis managers worldwide.
Over the next three years, Aegis aims to send 500 operations managers with three to five years of experience through the nine-month certificate program. eCornell's collaborative learning environment provides a social learning platform for meaningful interaction and networking among instructors and students enrolled in the Customer Management program. Aegis students across ten countries can share notes, discuss industry best practices and compare on-the-job experiences, all while earning an Ivy League credential from Cornell University.
The Certificate Program in Customer Management culminates in February 2012 with a completion ceremony at the Aegis Academy.
