CEO Nidal Haddad shares his insights on how understanding the supply chain in food packaging can lead to mature business practices as new concepts in food packaging solutions from Al Bayader International are put on display at their exhibition stand
First-hand information on how an in-depth understanding of the supply chain can lead to mature business practices in the food packaging industry are to be revealed by Nidal Haddad, CEO, Al Bayader International as he speaks in Day 1 of the Gulfood Conference scheduled on 28 February 2011.
As the main speaker of the third session, the theme of his presentation will be ‘Understanding the Supply Chain – a step towards mature business practice’, where he is expected to touch on topics such as Supply Chain in the Food Packaging industry – how important and relevant is it; Manufacturing, distribution and logistics: In-house or Outsource?; Control + flexibility = customer satisfaction as control retention actually allows for flexibility; and how a strong and efficient supply chain provides for stronger retail market.
With Gulfood 2011 – the Middle East’s largest food, drink, foodservice and hospitality event – happening on 27 February – 2 March 2011, Al Bayader International will put on display new concepts in food packaging solutions at their stand located at S1-D2 of Sheikh Saeed Hall of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Innovative food packaging solutions such as crystal clear PET containers and multipurpose PET cups with double-action lids are expected to provide visitors at Gulfood 2011 a glimpse into the company’s vision of the future. Additionally, new developments in the private label arena, such as nine-colour printing for clear PET cups, will likewise be highlighted by Al Bayader at the event.
