Bazxar introduces the Dining Room

UAE, 14 August 2016 – Bazxar, The latest brainchild from Create Hospitality, is a social dining experience offering an eclectic ‘food-market-restaurant-wine-bar’ concept, immersing guests on a culinary journey that draws inspiration from South East Asia, Europe and the Americas. Currently in its soft launch phase, Bazxar has become a favourite of the discerning DIFC crowd, offering a disruptive approach to dining for UAE residents hungry for more. Bazxar will further sate appetites with the opening of its highly anticipated and fully licenced Dining Room element.
Opening the Dining Room completes the Bazxar journey, articulating a vision of next-generation dining destination that elevates the soul and fires up taste buds. The award-winning design of the Dining Room is removed from the hustle and bustle of the casual communal area, located on the opposite wall of the venue. A beautiful open kitchen acts as the soul of the room, surrounding with thoughtfully spaced tables with signature yellow booths highlighted with quirky artworks from The Timeless Gallery that adorn the walls. The adjoining wine-bar and lounge enlivens the atmosphere with an exuberant selection of grape by the glass and hand-crafted cocktails.
In classically unconventional Bazxar style, the menu is divided into ‘things to start with’, ‘cold things’ ‘hot things’ and ‘things to finish’, all served sharing style with a theatrical flourish by the highly knowledgeable team and complimented by perfect selections from the sommelier. Highlights to start include pull-apart bread with Neal’s yard cheddar and chicken skin butter, or cured beef and evaporated balsamic. Mains tend towards the experimental; including foie gras “pb & j” topped with roasted peanuts and served with crisped bread and dried fig jam, or scallop ceviche with lime leaf and cilantro root and tiger’s milk. A hero dish is served in the form of josper-roasted wagyu with house-made ponzu and marinated tomatoes. ‘Things to finish’ include bay & lime leaf crumble and sloth & envy, a bitter chocolate soufflé with sweet lemon analgise.

New tastes, sounds and flavours fire up the imagination, and the deconstructed, industrial interior created by the award winning Bishop Design is the perfect backdrop for the food theatre on display. The interior design features contemporary art with rustic wooden flooring, mesh metal work with brass finishes, and specially designed leather furnishing, complemented by an eclectic mix of textures. Bazxar has already won two design awards.
Bazxar is located in the Gate Precinct Building 4, DIFC and is open weekdays from 8 am – 1 am and weekends 8am – 2am, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
