Jointly with BrazArtis, we see a great potential for expansion through collaboration with retailers and distributors in the Region.”
Saborama has recently launched the ‘Brasil Fruit’ energy drink which is gaining wide popularity on the international market. The emulsifying drink was awarded as the Best Energy Drink at the American Food and Beverage Competition in 2009 and has attained 200% increase in sales in Brazil in the month of May. As part of its rich nutritional content, Brasil Fruit energy drink contains Brazilian ‘Super-Fruits’ extracts including Acai, Guarana and Catuaba.
Brazilian super-fruits are known for their rich dietary and energy supplement comprising antioxidants, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, fibbers, lipids and Omega essential fatty acids.
Acai fruit, also referred to as the ‘Ultimate Super-Food’ or ‘Brazilian Berry’, comes from the rich Brazilian rainforest. In addition to being a flavoursome berry, Acai is renowned for its nutritional properties and is considered to be one of the most nutritious fruits of the Amazon.
Guarana is a plant from the Amazon that is widely used as a natural energy supplement. It was first introduced by the Amazon natives whom used it before going on long journeys to increase their resistance to thirst, heat and fatigue. Guarana is a powerful stimulant, increasing the resistance of mental and muscular fatigue, boosting body motor system and psyche.
In addition, Saborama has pioneered a line of ‘Diet and Light’ flavour drinks which have been recognized and recommended by the Brazilian National Association of Diabetes Care.
The Middle East is a focal market for Brazilian beverage and food products.
