Celebrate ‘The Americas’ and experience a ‘New World’ of gastronomy at Jumeirah Emirates Towers
An eclectic Americana-inspired culinary journey awaits at the iconic Dubai hotel
Dubai, UAE, 4 April, 2016: Jumeirah Emirates Towers will celebrate the gastronomic diversity of the Americas during a cross-continental culinary tour across three of the five-star property’s world-class outlets during April and May.
Following President Obama’s recent historic trip to Cuba, The Rib Room celebrates the launch of its new USA-inspired dinner menu with the visit of one of Cuba’s foremost experts in cigars; Alfie’s restaurant offers an exploration of classic American cocktails; and Mundo heads south with a new Friday brunch concept inspired by the diverse flavours of Latin America.

The Rib Room
Launching on Friday 1 April, The Rib Room’s revamped dinner menu is a journey across the States, with signature dishes including wild Alaskan halibut, cedar grilled Maine lobster, halal-certified American Kobe beef from Idaho’s Snake River Farms and prime black Angus beef from Kansas’ Creekstone Farms. Side dishes include pretzel fried green tomatoes, dirty mash and Dorito crusted onion rings. On 12 and 29 April, and 5 and 26 May, diners can finish their meal in style in The Rib Room Bar with a famous Partagas Cuban Cigar hand-rolled by the Senior Quality Controller from the Partagas factory in Havana. A free cigar will be offered with every cigar purchased.
The Rib Room’s celebration of the USA continues with the launch of weekly ‘Bourbon and Beef’ nights on Fridays, where guests can enjoy a full rack of Bourbon BBQ beef ribs with a side of mac’n’cheese and corn on the cob, expertly paired with a shot of fine Bourbon for AED 250.
The Rib Room has also launched a new business lunch Sunday-Thursday, where guests can opt for a 20-minute, one course for AED 60, a 40-minute, two course option for AED 120, or the one-hour, three course option for AED150.
From Friday 8 April, Mundo turns up the heat with the launch of its new Latin American brunch of crab cakes, South American ceviche; churrasco; and Peruvian inspired sushi including handmade shrimp, tuna, avocado and sweet potato rolls. The extensive cuisine will be paired with expertly hand-crafted cocktails and a well-curated collection of fine grape beverages. Prices start at AED 275 per person inclusive of soft beverages and AED 450 per person inclusive of house beverages.
The American vibes continue at Alfie’s restaurant, where from 6 April guests can book in for mixology classes every Thursday night at 7pm. For AED 100 guests can learn expert bar tending techniques, with a professional mixologist on-hand to guide them on the pour and shake process for classic American cocktails including the Manhattan and various Martinis. Guests can sample their creations and take away recipe cards to perfect their technique at home.
