Dubai, (UAE), 09 May 2012 - With the excitement and drama of the Euro 2012 football championships just around the corner, Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel is kicking-off the competition in style by offering you the chance to watch the upcoming fixtures shoulder-to-shoulder with two of the sport’s biggest names.

England’s World Cup winning hat-trick hero Sir Geoff Hurst and charismatic former England football club manager ‘Big Ron’ Atkinson have partnered-up with ‘the Gate’ to offer the UAE’s football fans an enviable opportunity to share a drink and watch the Euro 2012 matches in their company at the luxury hotel.

As football fever spreads throughout the UAE, the Mövenpick managed five-star hotel is recreating the live sporting atmosphere in the Al Bahou grand hall, with an array of high-definition plasma televisions lining the walls of the 80 by 30 meter multi-functional space showing every game of the championships.

During the games each day, the hotel will be offering a variety of food and beverage hospitality packages for groups of ten or more. They include dedicated ‘sports food menus’ and selected house beverages for just AED395 or premium beverages for AED495.
A fan zone package will also be available for AED 175 per person comprising a bucket of beverages and a choice from a selection of live cooking stations including fish and chips, mini burgers, hotdogs and shawarmas.
