Charity Iftar Hosted at Kempinski Hotel Ajman
A charity event was organised for the children from the National Charity School Ajman.
Ajman, July 3, 2015 – In light of the spirit of the Holy Month, 30 children were invited to Kempinski Hotel Ajman to enjoy Iftar at the authentic Ramadan sea view tent.
After breaking their fast, the kids were surprised by the head chef, who led them to the pastry kitchen to spend some time learning and having fun at the same time. The pastry chefs prepared cupcakes and cookies that the children could decorate and later take home with them. They could also see how chefs bake homemade bread, glaze the sweets and make cookies, followed by an exciting bowling game at the Cosmic Bowling.
“We have organised similar events during previous years as well and it is very important for our hotel team to support the less privileged. Ramadan is the month of giving, blessing and peace, and we are always eager to support different social activities. For the kids, the opportunity of being a real chef was definitely very interesting, as well as to see how the back-of-the-house operations work. Many of the children could not believe that all of the cookies, wedding cakes and any kinds of sweets that are available at Kempinski Hotel Ajman are actually naturally prepared inside the hotel. We are happy that in cooperation with the Action Care organisation, we have once again succeeded in creating joy for the children in need during the blessed month of Ramadan,” said General Manager Mr. Kai Schukowski.”
