In celebration of Atlantis, The Palms’ Culinary Month, two of the world’s most recognisable chefs, Nobu Matsuhisa and Giorgio Locatelli will be joining forces for a culinary first. Taking place for one night only, on Thursday 16th November at Nobu Dubai, this exclusive ‘four hands’ dining experience promises to serve the very best in Japanese and Italian cuisine.
Starting at 7pm, Nobu Matsuhisa of the world-renowned Japanese restaurant, Nobu and one Michelin star Italian celebrity, chef Giorgio Locatelli will come together to deliver a tantalising six-course tasting menu, featuring their signature dishes for just AED 550 per person.
Focusing on the use of truffle, the collaboratively created menu reflects Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature methods of giving traditional Japanese dishes a contemporary Peruvian twist, with a delectable line-up of courses including truffle sushi and cutrolls, Chilean sea bass dashi ponzu with truffle and tofu tiramisu for dessert.
Meanwhile Giorgio Locatelli, whose authentic cuisine takes its cues from the Italian ethos of primacy of quality ingredients over pretentiousness or fuss, delivers an equally enchanting selection of dishes including beef tartare with quail’s egg and white truffle, egg yolk and potato ravioli sprinkled with white truffle and pan-fried veal with potato cake and white truffle.
Giorgio Locatelli and Nobu return to Atlantis in celebration of the resorts biggest gastronomic event yet, Culinary Month. Throughout November, residents and visitors across the UAE will be able to rub shoulders with celebrity chefs, re-discover their favourite restaurants, sample new menus and attend a whole host of epic events during the month-long gastronomy filled affair.
Additionally, from 16th to 30th November, guests can take the opportunity to try specially priced set menus at any of Atlantis’ eight signature restaurants including Seafire Steakhouse, Ossiano and Nobu for 350AED and YUAN, Ronda Locatelli, Ayamna, Nasimi and Bread Street Kitchen & Bar for only 150AED.
