COYA LAUNCHES NEW SATURDAY LUNCH CONCEPT WITH “CHILLI LUNCH”
Weekends just got better with Coya’s newest Saturday lunch menu promising the best of Latin America with enticing signature dishes.
September 30, 2015| Dubai, United Arab Emirates: This October, Dubai’s favourite Peruvian restaurant introduces a tempting new Saturday lunch concept with “Chilli Lunch”. Perfect for those looking for a coveted escape from the long workweek, COYA sets the ultimate scene for a leisurely lunch with friends and family.
Offering the perfect weekend escape, COYA’s Chilli Lunch introduces a culinary journey through Peru; promising a scrumptious, interactive menu experienced through signature flavours so uniquely COYA. With a diverse range of dishes with plenty of vegetarian options to enjoy, guests can pair their menu by selecting a beverage of choice from a large selection of natural juices such as the ‘Belleza Morada’ comprising raspberries, acai berries and grapes to accompany each course or to order a ‘Pisco Punch’ with more kick to share with friends around the table.
Starting with delectable savoury ‘Fritos’ including potato churros, onion and cassava crisps to whet the appetite, COYA’s extensive weekend lunch menu selection leaves guests eagerly anticipating each new unfolding. Continuing the experience is a live ‘Guacomole’ demonstration at the table, served with a side of famed Inca Corn crisps that guests can feast endlessly on, accompanied by Cancha or Platain as serving sides. To follow are a luscious round of ‘Ceviches’ served up at the table to share.
No journey is complete without an interactive spread and COYA provides just the opportunity to mingle with the chefs or bump into friends at the ceviche counter where a selection of diverse, mouth-watering ‘Causas’ (mashed yellow potato dumpling mixed with key lime, onion, chili and oil) are ready to be feasted on.
After an opportunity to stretch their legs, guests are offered a ‘Leche De Tigre’ (Non-alcoholic Pisco Tiger Shot) that aids in tying in each essence and cleansing the palate to prepare for the bounteous main courses featuring COYA’s famous “Arroz Nikkei” which consists of tender, succulent seabass meat on a bed of creamy, flavourful rice, leaving guests lost for words with each bite.
Lastly, ‘Postres’ (desserts) are as diverse as they are delicious, and ending the meal on a sweeter note, is the dessert platter consisting of five of COYA’s favourite desserts which will more than appease any lingering sugar cravings.
The ideal weekend pampering lunchtime with an alluring list of options is set to satiate all manner of tastes. "We are truly excited to introduce this new weekend lunch concept," says Cedric Toussaint, Director of Operations of Coya Dubai.
