Dalma Mall opens international food court offering delectable choices for visitors
Conveniently located on Level 2 next to Fun City
· Four new operators already and another two to open shortly
· Six additional food retailers will open in due course
Abu Dhabi, UAE; December 13, 2011: Dalma Mall, the largest shopping and lifestyle destination in Abu Dhabi, has unveiled an international food court that can conveniently seat over 500 visitors and offering a delectable range of cuisine – from international fast food to authentic Arabic and Asian delicacies.

Four new operators have commenced operations with another two to open shortly followed by six more new F&B operators adding to the diversity of choices at the mall, which is quickly establishing its credentials as a convenient retail and entertainment destination in the capital city, and easily accessible for visitors.
Mr Rashid Doleh, Executive Director of Dalma Mall, said: “The new addition of the food court – will add convenience for our visitors, who can have a family day out at the mall. All the food outlets have been elected to offer our multicultural visitors cuisine for every occasion while also being renowned for quality.”
The newest food outlets within the food court include Subway, the world’s largest submarine sandwich chain offering quick, nutritious meals for the whole family; Soy Express, owned and managed by the Royal Orchid Group, which has a chain of restaurants in Abu Dhabi, and serving light fragrant Thai dishes and delicious Chinese specialities; and Kamayan Barrio Fiesta, the place for Asian comfort food including Asian and Filipino dishes, which is the third outlet of the chain in the city. F. Bohsali, out of Lebanon, offering the best in Arabic cuisine including fresh juices, shawarma and shish taouk is also now open.
Koala which offers a fresh selection of fish and chicken sandwiches ideal for lunch or dinner; Hatam serving Iranian food – including meat kebabs and grilled meat mixes will both open shortly.
Other existing operators at the mall include the renowned café organisation, Special Group which has opened two outlets - Special Juice Bar and Special café - complete with an outdoor terrace, ideal for an evening of shisha with friends. The Special Group will also open a third location at Dalma Mall with Petit Cafe offering Mediterranean cuisine.
Visitors can also revel in nutritious frozen dessert at Yogen Früz, the Canadian chain; and Clown n Candy, Abu Dhabi’s largest sweet store located opposite Fun City. Other cafes at Dalma Mall include Caribou Coffee and Maya Chocolateier café.
With over 60 per cent of its 1.6 million sq feet leasable area leased out, Dalma Mall has signed strategic partnerships with major groups such as Landmark Group and Al Futtaim, among others to bring a diverse breadth of retail experiences to the mall.
Stores already open include Carrefour Hypermarket, Centrepoint, Home Centre, Fun City and Matalan as well as a host of specialty stores. Marks and Spencer is due to open early next year.
Abu Dhabi’s largest Cineplex – the 14-screen CineRoyal Cinemas – offering over 2,200 seats and unprecedented cine-going experiences, has opened at the mall, underlining its appeal as a must-visit shopping and entertainment destination in the UAE capital.
