March Dubai, UAE – Royal China Dubai, the celebrated Chinese restaurant located in the heart of the DIFC, is delighted to highlight its award winning selection of traditional heritage Duck dishes this spring. Each draws on the unique skill and rich tradition of this Chinese culinary institution, prepared by a team of highly trained Chinese chefs to delight the palettes of the discerning Dubai diner.
Duck has been roasted in China for thousands of years; a variation of roast duck was prepared for the Emperor of China, who began the story of this distinguished dish. The Peking Roast Duck that came to be associated with the term was fully developed during the later years and by then, Peking Duck was one of the main dishes on imperial court menus. By the mid-20th century, Peking Duck had become a national symbol of China, favoured by royalty and diplomats alike.
Royal China meticulously sources its duck from Ireland and Thailand, working with the best farms in the world. Peking Duck is roasted in a specially made closed oven for 24 hours to allow the flavours to intensify and fully soak into the tender meat. The skin is then dipped in sugar and garlic sauce to create the succulent flavours, and served with fresh steamed pancakes, crisp spring onions and sweet bean sauce.
Peking Duck at Royal China has won accolades the world, over and is also offered in Crispy Aromatic, Cantonese and Paper variants, allowing guests to fully explore this exquisite meat. Meals can be enjoyed inside the richly appointed dining room, or the exclusive Royal China Garden, a tranquil hide-away inside the busting financial district that allows for moments of reflection and the pursuit of gourmet pleasures. For the ultimate experience, duck dishes can be served along with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, to transport diners to the Far East.
Renowned for its attentive service and world-class cuisine, the wide array of duck options on the Royal China Club menu underlines the strength of the Dubai outlet, as it continues to unlock an array of enthralling Asian secrets for food aficionados and guests of all nationalities.
