Discover Chef Vikas Khanna’s Kitchen Secrets at Junoon 9th-10th April
Meet, greet and dine with Junoon’s culinary ambassador as he launches his new book in Dubai
Celebrated chef and culinary ambassador for Junoon - Dubai’s new contemporary Indian dining destination – Vikas Khanna will be in town on 9th-10th April, offering fans the opportunity to meet the star, find out his cooking secrets, as well as join an exclusive dining experience with him at Junoon.
On April 9th at 8pm, guests booking a table at Junoon will be treated to a special cooking demo from Vikas himself, as he demonstrates his culinary expertise in Junoon’s beautiful open kitchen. Vikas will make some of Junoon’s signature dishes and explain to guests the history of the dishes and how they can prepare them at home. Guests will then dine on an exquisite four course menu and will each receive a signed copy of Vikas’ new book: World Feast - My Favourite Kitchen. Table bookings are from AED 360 per person for the demo and four course meal; and AED 555 per person for the demo, meal and a signed copy of World Feast - My Favourite Kitchen.
Shoppers and fans of Vikas will be in for a treat on Friday 10thApril, with a public book signing for World Feast - My Favourite Kitchen at Jashanmal, Mall of the Emirates. From 10.30am, Vikas will be in store signing copies of the book and there will be plenty of opportunity to chat to the famed chef and take photographs with him. The book takes readers on a culinary journey as Vikas takes your taste buds around the world from the Far East, Asia and India, across the European and American continents as well as to the Middle East - creating and savouring the most enticing dishes along the way.
Later that evening, from 8pm on the 10th April, Vikas will be hosting a very special private dining event at Junoon. Fourteen lucky guests will experience an intimate four course meal in Junoon’s private dining room with Vikas. They will have the opportunity to chat to Junoon’s culinary ambassador as they enjoy the delicious menu, as well as receiving a signed copy of his latest book. As these coveted spots are limited, booking will be on a first come, first served basis. Seats will cost AED 555 and include a four course meal with a signed copy of World Feast - My Favourite Kitchen.
Having established itself as a world-class dining destination in New York City since opening in 2010, earning a Michelin star for four consecutive years, Junoon opened its second location in the heart of Dubai in the Shangri-La Hotel at the start of 2015, under the direction of Founder and seasoned restaurateur Rajesh Bhardwaj.
