Enjoy a taste of tradition this Ramadan at Mövenpick Deira
Authentic Iftar eats on offer as Dubai’s most contemporary five-star downtown destination celebrates the Holy Month with a feast for all the senses
Residents and visitors eager to experience Iftar in the original heart of the vibrant city of Dubai should head to the Mövenpick Hotel Deira this summer, for a unique Ramadan experience that blends traditional values with contemporary flair.
The hotel is celebrating the Holy Month with a special Iftar offering aimed at giving Dubai residents, GCC tourists, global visitors and corporate guests the opportunity to enjoy the best of regional Arabic cuisine with an authentic flavour of the season for just AED 95 per person.
“Dubai is a truly cosmopolitan destination that is home to over 180 nationalities, and with the world literally on our doorstep we felt that it was important to bring together different nationalities and cultures in the spirit of the season - at the Iftar table,” said Michael Nugent, the hotel’s general manager.
The hotel’s executive chef, Salvatore Silvestrino, has drawn on regional culinary influences to create a menu that showcases a fusion of flavours and classic dishes for a traditional Iftar experience. The extensive buffet menu will feature a medley of mezze appetisers, succulent ouzi, aromatic chicken mouloukia and signature sweet treats to round off the meal.
“Providing a value added experience, with five-star standards, is at the very heart of what we do, and Ramadan reminds us all of the importance of taking time out from our busy lives to spend quality time with loved ones, friends and colleagues,” said Nugent.
Situated in the heart of Dubai’s oldest, and most authentic, neighbourhood, the hotel is conveniently located a few minutes by air-conditioned taxi from some of the city’s most popular shopping malls, where the Dubai Summer Surprises sales and entertainment programmes will be in full swing.
Iftar is available from sunset to 9pm; AED 95 per person including a selection of fresh juices.
