Get your kids nice balloons from one of the 18 retail kiosks at the Marina Terrace or let them try the water balloons on the side of the InterContinental DFC hotel or the remote controlled boats at the Canal. Take your companions on an Abra trip to catch a quiet moment or try a marine journey on the board of the available dhows or test your driving skills for few minutes with one of the white boats at the Canal.
Tired from a hectic day? There is no better way to relax but walking along the Festival Marina which lies at the heart of Festival Centre and presents some of the Emirates’ most photographed sunset vistas. The Mediterranean inspired Festival Marina has 74 permanent berths with state-of-the-art facilities to accommodate yachts from 15 to 35 m in length. The custom-designed marina features extra wide pontoons and wi-fi Internet access and is the only facility in the UAE with quay wall mooring (as found in the waterside towns of Europe).
This feature allows visiting yachts to moor directly at the quayside so passengers can go ashore and spend the day at Dubai Festival City. You may simply sit back on the wooden benches and watch the world going by or extend your experience to the Festival Promenade which is linked to the MRP and form together a stretch over almost 2 km of wonderful paved corniche.
The promenade is skirted by chrome railings and colourful flower bushes and perfectly designed to stroll or jog during the day or in the evenings under the solar powered lights.
With all above, Festival Centre promises all family members great moments and experience.
