Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Seventh Annual GCC Roadshow Takes 25 Properties across the Region
Four Seasons hosts sales development workshops and receptions in all major cities of the GCC
Dubai, UAE, 4 November, 2010 – Demonstrating its strong commitment to the region, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts hosted a sales development reception event in Dubai on Wednesday, 3 November.
David Crowl, VP Sales & Marketing, EMEA“
As Four Seasons presence in the Middle East continues to expand, our key focus is to continuously nurture our relationships with existing clients, as well as foster new relationships through an integrated Middle East and international sales effort. This goal is being approached through tailored initiatives such as our annual GCC Roadshow, now in its seventh year,” said David Crowl, Vice President Sales & Marketing EMEA.
“With rising intra-regional demand and mindful of the GCC’s position as an increasingly important feeder market for outbound sales, 25 regional and international Four Seasons properties are represented in this year’s roadshow. When concluded, workshops and receptions will have been hosted for retail and wholesale travel agencies as well as corporate customers in all major cities of the GCC, namely Riyadh, Jeddah, Kuwait, Doha, Manama, Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” he added.
Approaching 50 years of operation with a continuously expanding portfolio, which currently includes 84 hotels in 35 countries, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts entered the region 10 years ago with Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence. Today, Four Seasons has nine properties in the region, the most recent addition being Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, which opened its doors earlier this year.
“The Four Seasons name resonates with a depth of trust across the world, built on close to half a century of dedication to our core values – perfecting the travel and dining experience, offering enduring value and adhering to a deeply instilled ethic of personal service. It is this commitment to connecting at a personal level that drives our efforts to grow awareness of the brand in the Middle East by building key relationships one at a time through activities such as this regional roadshow,” Crowl concluded.
Four Seasons is set to continue establishing a new standard of service and quality in the region with a number of new projects in development. Middle East markets with Four Seasons properties in the pipeline include Abu Dhabi at Sowwah Island (due to open 2013), Oman (due to open in 2012 -13), Egypt (Luxor, in 2013), and Qatar (a second Four Seasons property is due to open in Doha in 2013 - 14), while Four Seasons openings are also expected in Bahrain and Kuwait over the next five years. Further afield, the much anticipated opening of Four Seasons Hotel in Marrakech is due to take place in 2011.
