Hakkasan Dubai Launches Delectable New Menu for Year of the Water Snake Inspired by Local Produce
12 February 2013. Hakkasan Dubai, the award winning modern Chinese restaurant located in Jumeirah Emirates Towers is excited to announce the launch of the innovative mouthwatering menu inspired by locally sourced ingredients.
Premiering a number of dishes for the first time in the GCC the new menu continues to push the boundaries of modern Cantonese dining. A majority of new dishes feature locally sourced ingredients, such as the Stir-fried Hammour in Spicy Black Bean Sauce, a wonderful combination of a sensational local fish with a conventional Chinese sauce made of black fermented soya beans.
Another dish highlighting the trend of localy sourced produce is the Prawns and Taro in Clay Pot with Yellow Bean Sauce. The prawns are prepared out of the shell and braised with taro root, ginger and minced red chili in a yellow bean sauce and served in clay pot to enhance the flavors.
Continuing the tradition of enhancing traditional ingredients, such as wagyu beef, the new menu includes old favorites with new twists, including, Wagyu Beef in Chinese Five Spice Sauce. Thin slices of tender beef are served with pickled vegetable and fried tofu. Topped with Chinese five-spice sauce, which is aromatic and slightly sweet.
Hakkasan Dubai is open daily to the public for lunch from 12.00pm - 3.00pm and from 7.00pm – 2.00am for dinner, drinks and bar snacks, with last dinner orders taken at 12.45am. Hakkasan’s dim sum brunch is available between 12.00pm-3.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
