HERTZ CAPS OFF MEMORABLE WEEK IN STYLE – BAGS SECOND ACCOLADE AT MENA TRAVEL AWARDS
Hertz takes home two awards in one week – voted by customers as Best International Car Rental and Best Car Rental Company in the Middle East
Dubai, UAE, 9 May, 2013: Hertz Rent-a-Car won the Best International Car Rental at the MENA Travel Awards last night, adding yet another accolade to the trophy cabinet and capping off what has been a memorable week for the world’s largest general use car rental company.
In a week when all eyes of the global travel industry focus on Dubai during Arabian Travel Market, Hertz has firmly underlined its status as the Middle East’s premium car rental brand, having already won the Best International Car Rental Company at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards on Sunday night (5 May).
Both awards won by Hertz are decided by customers only, adding to the credibility of each award, and highlighting the trust with which Hertz customers have in the company. The prestigious awards recognise Hertz as setting the benchmark in providing premium car rental services for inbound and outbound Middle East travellers.

The MENA Travel Awards took place at Al Meydan Hotel, where more than 700 professionals from across the globe celebrated industry leaders of the travel world. Every year, more than 230,000 end users vote for their favourite travel service and hospitality provider in 81 separate awards across 18 different categories.
The two most recent customer voted awards for Hertz in the Middle East and Africa region will sit amongst other accolades in the company’s trophy cabinet, most notably the Superbrands Award, which was presented to Hertz UAE, and Hertz Kuwait earlier this year.
