Global Hospitality Industry in Dubai for Region’s most Important Trade Event of the Year
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 15th May 2012: The Hotel Show 2012 was inaugurated this morning (Tuesday) by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline, as the region’s largest and most influential full spectrum hospitality supplies exhibition welcomed international visitors and exhibitors to the 13th edition of the show.

Industry professionals from over 94 countries throughout the Middle East, the Levant, North Africa and neighbouring countries thronged the halls at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre where more than 420 leading suppliers and consultants from around the world are participating.

The Green Initiative, a show feature introduced last year highlights those exhibitors offering sustainable, energy efficient and eco-friendly solutions from all sectors of the industry, while the Green Day programme of seminars and workshops on Monday, 16th May, in conjunction with DTCM, will provide valuable insights on sustainability, environmentally responsible policies and green technology being implemented by the hospitality sector around the world.
