Hop down to ‘the Gate’ meet the Easter Bunny and make your own chocolate egg
The Gate has gone hopping mad this Easter with a brunch filled with egg hunts, prize give-aways, live chocolate-making and a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny
Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, managed by Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts is transforming its iconic 93 metre high Al Bahou (grand hall) into a fun filled Easter playground full of ‘eggciting’ activities, prize give-aways and special guest appearances for children and parents alike.
The Easter brunch on Sunday 8th April will have a culinary showcase of the hotel’s five signature restaurants with live cooking stations throughout Al Bahou.
The Executive Chef at the Gate has also conjured up a mouth-watering Easter seasonal buffet consisting of traditional roasted meats, glazed vegetables and hot cross buns that is bound to put a ‘Spring’ in anyone’s step.
To add to the day, the hotel will be running a number of activities for children to enjoy such as an Easter egg hunt, egg decorating, face painting, a giant bouncy castle, a petting zoo, a magician (who will no doubt pull a bunny out of his hat) not forgetting the star of the show - the Easter Bunny.
“We’ve attached fantastic prizes to all of the eggs hidden around Al Bahou and the children will have to race to find each one. The prizes themselves range from spa treatments or complimentary brunches, to an overnight stay in one of our hotels five-star suites, so there’s definitely an incentive for parents to get involved in the fun,” said Philippe Bonnot, General Manager, Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel.
Not only that, the hotel’s dessert room – Pastane – will have a live chocolate-making station where children (and parents with a sweet tooth) will be able to create their very own chocolate egg masterpieces.
Guests can enjoy the Easter fun at the Al Bahou for just AED 395 per adult including free flowing bubbly, AED 295 for non-alcoholic beverages, AED 145 for teens between 13 and 17 years old, AED 95 for children between 6 to 12 years old and free of charge for the little ones under 6!
