Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort wins 3rd place in Burjuman Junior Chef of the Year Competition
The team bags a total of 16 medals in the competition’s overall tally
Dubai, UAE (October 2, 2012) – The culinary team of Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort headed by Executive Chef KAC Prasad was named 3rd place champion in the Burjuman Junior Chef of the Year Competition. The team gathered a total of 16 medals in the competition’s overall tally with one (1) gold, seven (7) silver and eight (8) bronze medals.

The competition categories included Practical Cake Decoration, Tiered Wedding Cake Decoration, Open Showpiece, Bread Loaves & Showpiece, Fruit & Vegetable Showpiece, Practical Cookery, Arabic Cuisine, Three Course Gourmet Dinner Menu, and more.
The competition, which was part of the Burjuman World Food Festival, ran from September 18 to 22. It was organised by Burjuman, in association with The Emirates Culinary Guild. Over 300 young chefs from more than 40 hotels and resorts in the UAE participated in this inaugural event.
