2011 a record year with over 7 million visitors to Dubai’s leading beachfront leisure destination

One of the most distinctive and popular entertainment and shopping destinations in the UAE, The Walk at JBR welcomed over 7 million visitors in 2011, giving this destination iconic status and pride of place as one of DPG’s flagship development. Overlooking the Arabian Ocean, The Walk at JBR is one of the most sought after destinations in the UAE for cultural and leisure activities, and has just concluded the launch event for the Red Bull X-Fighters world tour for the second year running. The Walk at JBR was selected as one of just six iconic venues worldwide to host the International Freestyle Motocross World Tour, welcoming more than 20,000 spectators to the high octane show which was staged on the beach and broadcast around the world to millions of viewers.
