Under the recent appointment of Neil Houghton, General Manager, the hotel introduces new and recognised faces, announcing a full management team of six dedicated personalities, behind each of the culinary brands.
The InterContinental Abu Dhabi dining scene array is renowned with 6 award-winning restaurants. For 38 years, the iconic landmark has showcased a wide range of fine international cuisine, with lively and interactive experiences. Various accolades include, three distinguished FACT Abu Dhabi, Time Out & What’s OnDining Awards 2018; favourite Italian Circo, the best Lebanese cuisine at Byblos Sur Mer and the new Pan-Asian addition Cho Gao Marina Walk, Best seafood Fishmarket and best pub food Belgian Café – supporting a proven reputation of excellence that surpasses expectations.

Circo – Lorenzo Monaco
Originating from Rome and having built a passionate career in Italy, Lorenzo will be the emblem of traditional Italian lifestyle, synonymous with the Circo experience. Circo offers cuisine centred around Tuscany yet celebrating Italy, served with flare in a lively setting. Lorenzo is supported by Chef Andrea Pastore from Puglia in South Italy to offer a truly authentic dining experience, only at Circo.
Chamas Churrascaria – Marcus Felipe Main Veiguinha
A global citizen hailing from Portugal, Marcus welcomes guests with an impressive array of languages. His energy, charm and effervescent personality shine through the whole team to bring you a wonderful experience of both food and service in the colourful carnival style that is Brazil. Chef Wanderson from Brazil brings the real Churrascaria experience to life at Chamas, using his special meat marination that gives the delicious and authentic taste.
Belgian Café – Peter Van Den Berg
Peter joins the city's leading hangout amongst locals, expats, and tourists. His experience originally in South Africa and then around the world combined with his interest in brewing hops make him the perfect person to advise you on your beer selection! His attentive care through the entire team will bring to life your time in The Belgian Café.
Cho Gao Marina Walk – Tomy Irawan
Tomy presents an adventurous Pan-Asian journey, infused with authentic Indonesian flavour from his home country of Indonesia. He brings a unique blend of energy and Chi balance to the restaurant allowing you to really enjoy the incredible cocktails and creative cuisine and yet leave with a zen like inner calm. Fishmarket – Ahmed Ibrahim
The one and only Ahmed heads up the illustrious Fishmarket our legendary seafood market style restaurant. An unsurpassed depth of experience of over 18 years of remarkable hospitality will almost certainly assure a memorable meal with wonderful views across the beach and Gulf of Arabia.
Byblos Sur Mer – Elias El Ghazal
Lebanese Elias showcases true Arabian hospitality. A prominent personality in the Abu Dhabi dining scene, Elias has achieved number one Trip Advisor status for Byblos Sur Mer in 2015, 2016 and consistently maintained a top 5 position over the last 3 years for the best Lebanese restaurant in town.
