Italian Coastal Specials on offer at BiCE Mare
Exclusive regional dishes to change each month
Dubai, UAE –xx February, 2012: Travel down the Italian coast with BiCE Mare as the specialty seafood restaurant launches its new monthly specials starting with Liguria in the North West of the country from March. Liguria is famous for its seafood and is recognized as the birthplace of the Italian staple, pesto.
Each month the special menu will change, bringing diners a selection of regional ingredients and dishes that will not be available at any other restaurant in the UAE. The Liguria specials include; Ligurian octopus with chickpeas and cream, traditional pasta from Genoa - Trenette with scorpion fish, basil and walnuts, Ligurian style tuna with anchovies and mushrooms and pan fried sea bream with a traditional cappunadda, which is a salad made with soft bread, black olives, tuna, tomatoes and capers.
Following on from Liguria, BiCE Mare’s menus will travel south along the coast bringing guests dishes from some of the country’s most famous gastronomic regions including Tuscany, Lazio, Calabria, Sicily and Puglia.
The all Italian kitchen team at the venue come from around Italy and will each help create the special dishes each month.
The new special menu will be available throughout March.

Pastas, sauces, bread, deserts and ice creams are a few of the homemade delicacies served up in the restaurant. Chef Francesco is passionate about only using fresh seasonal ingredients and the best seafood from both local and international sustainable sources.
Adding true Italian flair and theatrics, table side cooking is a new aspect of the restaurant, with culinary creations made in front of the guests to add some drama to both lunch and dinner. This can all be enjoyed while listening to the piano player and watching the incredible Dubai Fountain display from the restaurant’s open air terrace.
Located in the Souk Al Bahar, BiCE Mare is open 7 days a week with lunch being served from 12:00pm to 3:30pm and dinner from 7:00pm to 12:30pm.
