Kempinski Hotel Ajman Supports Community Clean-Up
In light of the 44th UAE National Day celebrations, Kempinski Hotel Ajman supported the Ajman Tourism Development Department by conducting an extensive clean-up event in Flag Park.
Ajman, November 29, 2015; In order to create awareness and promote the importance of protecting the environment, Kempinski Hotel Ajman took part in another extensive clean-up event organised by the Ajman Tourism Development Department on 29 November.
Throughout the week of National Day celebrations, more than 20 representatives from the hotel’s different departments joined the efforts of making a difference for the local environment.
Kai Schukowski, the Hotel Manager of Kempinski Hotel Ajman, said, “As the first five-star hotel in Ajman, our utmost aim is to pride ourselves in our surroundings and our home, and together as a team, we should raise public awareness. In April 2015, we organised a large-scale clean-up event by the newly opened Ajman Marina area, where more than 600 kg of garbage were collected. Such local initiatives are a basic way to preserve our community here in Ajman and it is important to show that we care. Only together can we make a difference. I am very thankful for my team, for their commitment and for Ajman Tourism for making the effort to organise such an activity and extending their continuous support to us.”
