KERZNER INTERNATIONAL NAMES BRETT ARMITAGE, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT INTERNATIONAL SALES & MARKETING, EUROPE,CIS, AMERICAS, GCC & AFRICA AND PROMOTES JEAN JOSEPH TO VICE PRESIDENT SALES & MARKETING, UK AND IRELAND
DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – 26 May 2014 – Kerzner International Holdings Limited (the “Company”) announced that Brett Armitage, Senior Vice President, International Sales & Marketing will assume responsibility for the expanded territories of Europe, Middle East, Africa, CIS and The Americas, whilst Jean Joseph, has been promoted to Vice President Sales and Marketing, UK and Ireland, both effective 4 May 2014.
In his expanded role, Brett Armitage will take responsibility for the sales and marketing for Kerzner resorts across Europe, CIS, and The Americas in addition to Africa and the Middle East. He is responsible for the strategic direction, deployment and productivity in these markets as well as developing joint sales and marketing initiatives for the Kerzner properties.
With extensive experience in international hospitality, Armitage joined Kerzner International in 2007 as Senior Vice President, Sales of Atlantis, The Palm where he established the sales platform and sales structure for the destination resort, resulting in remarkable success for the iconic landmark. Prior to this, he worked for a number of leading companies including InterContinental Hotels Group and the Jumeirah Group in various senior sales roles.
Jean Joseph, in her new role as Vice President, Sales & Marketing, UK and Ireland, will be responsible for all sales and field marketing activity in this key market for Kerzner, as well as the overall management of the UK Sales Office based in London.
Joseph joined Kerzner over 10 years ago, initially as Sales Director, UK & Ireland for Atlantis, eventually expanding into a wider Leisure Sales role for Kerzner International, adding the One&Only and Mazagan Beach&Golf properties to her responsibilities. She has held previous groups and leisure sales roles with previous companies including Kempinski and InterContinental Hotels Group.
