Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel is offering a passionate promotion for starry-eyed romantics this valentine with an extended a la carte menu, gifts galore and for one lucky couple the ultimate ‘gate-away’ experience
‘The Gate’ is offering its guests a tasty Valentines package consisting of an intimate candle-lit dinner for two, a complimentary glass of Duval Leroy Rose for the ladies upon arrival and to round-off the evening a selection of delicious Swiss chocolates, all for just AED590 per couple.
Couples will also have the choice to dine from three of the hotels five-star outlets including Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist at ‘Chor Bazaar’, the rustic Italian ‘Sicilia’ and the oriental-inspired ‘Shanghai Chic’.
Some of the delicious dishes that will be served on the evening are Peking Duck, Pancakes with Hoi Sin Sauce, Caramelised and Roasted Octopus with “Pistachio Di Bronte” and Tandoori lamb chops.

“The special a la carte menus we have prepared have a wide variety of dishes across three of our restaurants - enough to satisfy the heartiest appetite,” added Bonnot.
However it’s not just about the men, to enhance the romance for the ladies, one of the hotel’s waiters will whisk around each restaurant holding a bouquet of roses that have gifts attached to their stems. Each lady dining at the hotel will be offered a rose from the waiter’s bouquet and of course a surprise Valentine gift.
“We wanted to make sure that nobody went away empty-handed or feeling disappointed, so every lady will receive a gift which could be a Valentine discount voucher or a complimentary spa treatment,” said Bonnot
