Landmark Group soon to launch Carluccio’s in Kuwait
Internationally renowned restaurant to give foodies a taste of authentic Italian cuisine
Kuwait City: 10 February, 2011 – Landmark Group, the region’s leading retail and hospitality conglomerate, will soon be launching Carluccio’s, the internationally renowned Italian café, restaurant and foodshop in Kuwait. Located in the Avenues, diners will very soon be able to enjoy delicious Italian cuisine at great value for money.
Speaking about the upcoming launch Naveed Dowlatshahi, the Head of Foodmark, the food division of Landmark Group:“We are looking forward to launching Carluccio’s in Kuwait. As the Group has grown and diversified its interests, our vision is to continually expand in the region in both our retail and hospitality segment. We have huge plans for Carluccio’s; in the coming 4 years there would be over 25 Carluccio’s restaurants in the region.”
Having originated in the UK, the first Carluccio's was opened in 1999 in London and has gone on to expand to 50 locations across the UK, and 56 worldwide. Carluccio’s will be entering Kuwait for the very first time after enjoying immense success in United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Carluccio’s captures the essence of contemporary Italian dining in a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. It is famous for selling ingredients and merchandise, also used in Carluccio's restaurants and cafés around the world, such as olive oil, fresh bread and imported cheeses.
Landmark Group would like to welcome both locals and expats in Kuwait to experience a little taste of Italy.
