Las Cabanas, Amman’s Hottest Pop-up, Opens for Summer
A new Latino-style hangout in town
There’s a new Latino-style hangout in town, and you better get there quickly as it’s only going to be there for the summer of 2018. Opening in June, Las Cabanas promises to be the go-to spot for Amman’s social set.
Occupying the eighth floor of Campbell Gray Living Amman, a development by Al Seraje Real Estate, a subsidiary of the Audeh Group, Las Cabanas promises to bring “buena onda” (good vibes) to Jordan’s capital city. Located in Abdali, Amman’s trendy downtown area, once you’ve discovered Las Cabanas, you won’t want to hang out anywhere else.
Amman is a fascinating city of contrasts with a unique blend of old and new! Our exciting project will showcase the potential within the Abdali District of this beautiful city. Las Cabanas promises to be a slick and fun spot that both residents and tourists will love,” says Saad Audeh, Chairman Campbell Gray Hotels.
Not only does this restaurant and bar have an Instagram-worthy swimming pool (be sure to be snapped poolside in your latest pineapple print swimsuit), you can even hire your own private Jacuzzi – Las Cabanas sports no less than eight of these bubbly jet tubs – making this the perfect spot for private parties. Book a table and sit back with a cocktail (the mojitos are muchos moreish) before tucking into sharing platters of tasty tapas. With influences from Spain, Brazil, Mexico and the Caribbean, each dish comes packed with flavour. From passion fruit fish ceviche, to Caribbean adobo beef skewers to hot pepper shrimp tostados, your taste buds will be introduced to an explosion of flavours.
With its cool, cheerful and contemporary décor, you’ll find it easy to slip into the party spirit. The epitome of tropical, but tasteful design, the Las Cabanas aesthetic is a 1950s Palm Springs poolside cocktail party, with immediately identifiable mascots that will swoop you up in the zing of feelgood South Americana.
The colours are pink, turquoise, blue and yellow, the shapes are peacocks, maracas, bananas, coconuts, and flamingos. Not forgetting, of course, pineapples, because this summer is the ‘Age of the Pineapple.’
