The Hotel’s RM50 Million Room Refurbishment Showcases Distinctive Creative Design Elements, Contemporary Flourishes and Enhanced Comforts
KUALA LUMPUR, 18 July 2016 – Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur unveils its stylish new guestrooms, inviting guests to discover a heightened level of sophistication in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Having completed the final phase of an extensive RM50 million refurbishment program over the course of one year, the hotel showcases a fresh new theme that juxtaposes traditional Malay motifs with modern styling and clean lines – all aligned with Le Méridien brand’s mission to expose the creative-minded traveller to the most unexpected yet engaging experiences.

Incorporating visually appealing regional components in an artful modern style, the hotel’s 420 newly renovated guestrooms feature grey tiles, white marble and lavish carpet with traditional Malay ‘Batik’ motifs re-imagined with a contemporary twist. The chic ambience is augment by ambient and natural lighting, showcasing subtle hues and walnut timber furnishings. Each room offers the signature Le Méridien Bed with hypoallergenic pillows and soft duvets, ensuring a sumptuous sleep experience, as well as 48’ flat screen TVs, multiple USB power points and High-Speed Internet Access.
For a fresh new perspective, including captivating views of the city skyline and Lake Gardens, there are five choices of room category starting from Deluxe Room, Premier Room, Club Room, and Suite Room to the Presidential Suite. The contemporary chic Deluxe Rooms blends functionality and generous comforts available in a choice of king or twin beds with goose down duvets. Situated in each corner of the hotel, Premier Rooms make the most of Kuala Lumpur’s stunning urban landscape through large windows.
