Luxury Cars and Dream Holiday Packages Given Away at Festival Centre Dubai Festival City
8 Winners Announced at Festival Centre’s DSF Mega Draw
Dubai, February 26, 2011 - With the Dubai Shopping Festival coming to an end, Festival Centre, the award winning retail epicentre of Dubai Festival City has announced the names of the mall-wide DSF promotion winners at a special ceremony that took place at Festival Centre, in the presence of Gary Burrows, GM Shopping Centres, and other officials from Al Futtaim Group.
The prizes, drawn throughout the shopping festival month, left eight winners overwhelmed when driving away in four luxury cars, while four others walked away with dream holiday packages for two to Bali and Thailand.
Upon handing the prizes to the winners, Gary Burrow commented: “DSF has become a pillar of Dubai’s economy, and a month that both retailers and shoppers wait for year after year. Festival Centre has recorded a 15% increase on last year’s numbers during DSF and we are delighted to see the month-long festival ending with such a positive finale”.
He added: “The ceremony was a great day for eight of our guests. I was delighted to see Festival Centre putting a smile on our visitors’ faces and adding value to their shopping experiences with these fantastic prizes.”
With around AED 700,000 worth of prizes, the promotion extended from January 20 to February 20 and offered shoppers the chance to win a Volvo CX6 and a Dodge Charger from Al Futtaim Trading Enterprises, a Toyota Avalon from Al Futtaim Motors, a year-long rent free Lexus IS300 from Hertz in addition to holiday packages for two to Bali and Thailand from Al Futtaim Travel.

· Luz Faustino, Filipino, winner of Volvo Cx6
· Asma Agha, American, winner of 1 year rental Lexus IS300
· Anwar Al Nabulsi, Syrian, Mojdeh Ranjbar, Iranian, and Hassan Dardas, Jordanian winners of Holiday package for two to Thailand
· Aysha Saeed Hassan, UAE, winner of Holiday package for two to Bali.
Shoppers were eligible to one draw entry every time they spent AED 300 at any of the 400 participating stores and 90 cafés and restaurants at Festival Centre.
