McDonald’s Qatar Celebrates its 18th Birthday
McDonald’s restaurant in Al Sadd was the first to open its doors to the public
Doha, December 14, 2013 – Al Mana Restaurants & Food Co., the owner and operator of McDonald’s restaurants in the State of Qatar, celebrated yesterday the eighteenth birthday of the first McDonald’s restaurant in Doha. The restaurant in Al Sadd Area, also known as McDonald’s Al Suhaim Bin Hamad Street, opened its doors on December 13, 1995 to become an integral part of Doha’s everyday life. This restaurant still remains one of the most popular McDonald’s restaurants in Doha.
Sharing this occasion with its community, McDonald’s organized a special celebration at Al Sadd restaurant and invited its neighbours and consumers to take part in a fun-filled afternoon. The program involved activities, games and competitions where both kids and parents shared in the enjoyment and spent quality family time together. Their favourite McDonald’s characters were also there to contribute to the excitement and share many gifts, making this festive occasion even more memorable.
