The Gramercy to host Dubai Original Music Festival
Dubai, UAE, 19 April 2015:The Gramercy, DIFC’s thriving live music venue and preferred spot for Dubai dwellers to unwind, is delighted to host the 4th edition of Dubai Original Music Festival. The festival taking place on Saturday 2 May is dedicated to showcasing original music from UAE based upcoming and established artists. The event proceeds will be donated to Johnny’s Magical Musical Tour, a charity supporting children with special needs and orphansthrough raising awareness and constant fund raising both locally and internationally.
Johnny Miller, a treasure in the Dubai music scene has worked tirelessly with Dubai's special needs children over the last decade and continues expansion of his Magical Musical Tour charity, which provides aunique type of care. Orphans,Children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and various other special needs have enjoyed regular music therapy sessions and special appearances at parties and concerts thanks to Johnny, who is known to have a true heart of gold.Project W, the charity’s current focus has been initiated to improve the lives of children in Wakiso Uganda. The project will help Orphaned children with basic day to day necessities and buildingnew homes. Project W will directly benefit from the full proceeds of this year’s Dubai Original Music Festival.
“This is going to be an amazing evening with so much talent on the stage. The seven featured artists will provide an array of Original Compositions covering many music genre and offering something to please everyone!” comments Johnny on the upcoming event.
The events line up of artists includes;The Gramercy’sresident Adam Baluch, the alternative soul specialist, who also plays the trumpet and piano. Adam’s fresh personality and musical styling’s present true homegrown talent at its very best. In addition, singer, songwriter Hamdan Al Abri and Funk Radius, the Dubai-based soul and R&B band will delight crowds. Other artistes to look forward to include ShirElia, Stefan Malinowski and Mad Dog and The Poor Boys, among others.
