Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain receives ‘Best Airport Hotel in Arabia’ award
Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain will compete with other regions at the 2013 International Hotel Awards for the ‘World’s Best Airport Hotel’, after winning the Arabia region’s five-star award.
Dubai (United Arab Emirates), 31 October 2013. Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is celebrating after two of its properties gained recognition at the regional finals of the prestigious International Hotel Awards. Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain was announced as ‘Best Airport Hotel in Arabia’ after claiming the country award. Mövenpick Hotel Beirut received the country award as ‘Best Resort in Lebanon’.

The hotels were both individual country award winners that competed for regional honours at a high-profile gala dinner in Dubai. Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain was announced as the highest-scoring airport hotel in Arabia and will now compete with the regional winners from Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, UK and the Americas for the ‘World’s Best Airport Hotel’ award. The winner will be announced in November at the 2013 International Final ‘World’s Best’ Hotel Awards, to take place in London.
