Dubai, July, 2015 – On the 28th of July 2015, Nawwara Lifestyle Choices – a home-grown concept for wholesome living in the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, presents the soft launch of an exciting new Peruvian restaurant; Garden.
Aiming to spoil guests with authentic Peruvian dishes, currently the hottest trend among foodies, “Garden” offers a wide variety of tempting menu items including a mouth-watering selection of seafood ceviche’s and freshly sliced tiraditos, which have cemented the reputation of Peruvian cuisine over the years.
Garden’s Chef de Cuisine Edgar Hurtado is the most renowned Peruvian chef in the UAE, deeply committed to recreating the true ﬂavours of his homeland. He states: “Being Peruvian, I can afﬁrm that we are all obsessed with our food – we are proud of it, long for it, and most all, love to share it. Peruvian food is here to thrive.”
Located on the 5thfloor of the iconic JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, the interiors of Garden ﬂourish with imagery from Peru; Inca art decorated walls by local artist FathimaMohiuddin and a Pisco bar with refreshing cocktails and authentic food served to perfection in a laid back and cosy atmosphere. Mixology is a focus in Garden and Pisco bar aims to provide a truly authentic experience showcasing the core values of Nawwara Lifestyle Choices.
Nawwara Lifestyle Choices (LC) at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai presents three distinct destinations in one; Square Nightclub, Garden Restaurant and the Park Outdoor Lounge, which will open in the near future. All three venues represent a movement dedicated to real experience seekers who appreciate a genuine approach covering a broad spectrum of entertainment. The philosophy of Nawarra LC is to reward guests with a sense of completeness in the moment and encourage them to relax and embrace individuality. Each of the three venues is unique and represents a raw passion, excitement, rebellious and audacious attitude towards life.
Tomas Vindasius, managing director of WinVision Consultants and General Manager of Nawwara LC, is behind the vision implemented in creating the concept and states that “While Dubai is oversaturated with luxury venues which can sometimes have a cold atmosphere, Nawwara LC is suited to the most passionate of people, living and enjoying the simple things in life to the fullest.”
Nawwara LC is part of Marriott International’s global initiative, Project Canvas. Project Canvas is an endeavour that aims to harness the passion of food and beverage entrepreneurs in their local markets to create home-grown brands in the region. Marriott International prides itself on entrepreneurship, experimentation and local community and Project Canvas was created to provide a platform which invites these entrepreneurs to test their new food and beverage business ideas in Marriott International’s ‘concept labs’. While the local entrepreneurs bring exciting new ideas to the Food and Beverage sphere, Marriott International supports with renowned expertise in hospitality business, global presence and financial backing.
In the UAE, following presentations by many talented entrepreneurs, Project Canvas selected two entrepreneurs and awarded them $50,000 each to execute their business plan at two of Marriott International hotels outlets in Dubai. Along with an exciting new concept in Marriott Harbour Dubai, Nawarra LC is the Project Canvas initiative in the Middle East, focusing on a distinctive food and beverage experience in order to attract Gen Y travelers and guests - a key audience for the hotelier.
