NOODLE BOX AT THE YAS HOTEL – SUMMER 2011
Bringing the Far East closer
This month The Yas Hotel is launching a brand new menu at its Asian restaurant, Noodle Box, with the help of guest chef Jed Archdeacon from The Yas Hotel’s sister property, the Viceroy Hotel in the Maldives. This new menu is a tantalizing selection, exhibiting some of the most exotic flavors from the Far East.
With the new Noodle Box menu, you are presented with an extraordinary opportunity to savor authentic cuisines straight from all across south-east Asia and choose your favorite gourmet dishes from the country you favor most. Whether you prefer the fresh and delicate flavors of China or the heat of world famous Thai Chili, Noodle box provides you the most mouth-watering gastronomic delights of China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
Some of the new delicacies on the menu include Cha Sui Bao, a sweet Chinese dumpling filled with Barbequed Chicken and Sate Lilit an aromatic and flavorful Balinese chicken sate. If your appetite craves seafood try the Pla Lat Phirk, a deep fried whole red snapper fish in an aromatic three flavored or Goong Yung a Thai red curry prepared with succulent prawns grilled to perfection.
The talented Australian Chef, Jed Archdeacon, will be accompanying our very own Chef Taufik Sutisna all September and will be providing his culinary South-East Asian expertise to bring you a Noodle Box experience with a refreshingly new twist to traditional delights. With his years in Thailand Chef Jed has brought to the menu a strong Thai influence with native techniques and flavors of the south-east Asian grill. Prior to working at the Viceroy Hotel in the Maldives he worked at Ritz Carlton at Phulay Bay in Thailand, Six senses Puket in Thailand and Soneva Fushi Resort by Six Senses in the Maldives. He now has set his eyes on bringing the Far East a little closer to the Middle East.
