SHISHA AT THE PARK
Guests looking for a unique area in which to enjoy spending time with family, friends and colleagues, or simply to collect themselves and unwind need look no further than the peaceful and tranquil setting of the terrace outside the Lounge and Café Arabesque, overlooking the beautiful marina and skyline of Dubai.

Friday Brunch at Traiteur offers diners the chance to choose from among four brunch packages presented by Chef de Cuisine Franck and his team of chefs, and available from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.
Brunch Package 1: AED375 per person, including food and non-alcoholic beverages; Brunch Package 2: AED450 per person, including food, beer and wine; Brunch Package 3: AED595 per person, including food, beer and wine and Veuve Clicquot champagne; and the Premium Brunch Package 4: AED1,500 per person, including pick-up and drop-off in a hotel limousine, food, Dom Perignon champagne, and premium selected spirits, beer and wine, as well as a gift from Pistache (Park Hyatt Dubai’s patisserie).
Traiteur continues its initiative with Seawings, the only seaplane tour operator in the Middle East. Friday Brunch guests in Traiteur will be entered automatically into the weekly free draw to win a 40-minute sightseeing tour for two people over the city of Dubai.
Located conveniently within Park Hyatt Dubai, Seawings operates its daily service from the hotel’s Creek side, offering an exclusive private charter for up to nine passengers. With the launch of the weekly prize draw, there are now even more reasons to enjoy brunch at Traiteur, especially following the introduction in October 2009 of the restaurant’s new chef de cuisine, Franck Detrait, its new concept as a French brassiere and the new menu.
Guests enjoy the stunning architecture and theatre-style kitchen of Traiteur while listening to live jazz entertainment; alternatively, they can relax and enjoy brunch with friends in the private dining room, the Cave Privée, or on the outdoor terrace area overlooking the yachts, a perfect location as the temperature drops in the winter months.
Featuring a large selection of appetisers and live cooking stations, Traiteur offers shucked Fine de Claire oysters, assorted pork charcuterie, and spit-roasted duck, lamb and USA beef from the rotisserie. Lobster, shrimp and salmon from the grill station will also delight, while a live station serves Eggs Benedict with Ham, as well as a selection of vegetables and potatoes served in copper pots, from French beans to roasted pumpkin.
A variety of dishes is also on offer from the piazza area outside Traiteur, where the live grill station serves marinated lamb chops, chicken and beef tenderloin with Mediterranean vegetables, not forgetting the spit-roasted suckling pig.
As for desserts, an extensive buffet is set up inside Traiteur’s private dining room (also referred to as The Chef’s Table), in addition to live dessert stations. The mouthwatering selection here includes home-made ice-creams, a crêpe and waffle station, a chocolate fountain, a praline station and a plethora of other desserts, including Saint Honoré, Opera Cake, Éclairs and Crème Brûlée.
Reservations are required 48 hours in advance for the Premium Brunch Package 4 and bookings must be for a minimum of four people.
For restaurant reservations, please call 04 317 2222.

Wednesday BBQ night is available at the Thai Kitchen from 7:00pm to 12:00 midnight. The BBQ Set Menu 1 is priced at AED150 per person and the BBQ Set Menu 2 is AED185 per person.
Every Saturday, The Thai Kitchen offers Juhm Jihm, or hot pot, a dish from Chef Supattra’s home province of Esarn that is offered in addition to the à la carte menu. Priced at AED130 per person (minimum order is for two people), the hot pot is in keeping with the much praised high standards of Chef Supattra and the authenticity of the food that has made The Thai Kitchen such a popular venue in Dubai.
What is hot pot?
Hot pot is a communal Asian meal where everybody cooks their own food right at the table in an aromatic broth. The boiling broth is served in a hot clay pot and all the ingredients, including shrimp, chicken, meat, vegetables and herbs, are presented raw on the side. Each person then places his or her choice of ingredients into the broth until they are cooked, after which they can be enjoyed with three different and very flavourful Thai sauces.
For reservations, please call 04 317 2222.

Served from 3:00pm to 7:00pm daily, this light, elegant meal consists of three courses, starting with assorted crustless finger sandwiches of smoked organic salmon, cucumber and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise and cress and ham. Next, guests savour the taste of freshly baked raisin and apple scones served with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and, finally, the afternoon tea experience is completed with a selection of tea pastries. Taking centrestage is, of course, the wonderful assortment of nine varieties of fine teas, including Imperial English Breakfast, Imperial Earl Grey and Darjeeling.
Afternoon tea is becoming a regular event option for baby showers and “hen” gatherings. We are happy to consider individual requests for these events in alternative locations, such as serving afternoon tea in one of the private dining rooms or on the Traiteur Upper Balcony overlooking the marina.
Afternoon tea is priced at AED115 per couple. The Lounge is open daily from 7:00am to 1:00am.
