16th November, 2015, United Arab Emirates, Dubai: One&Only celebrates November as its official month of fashion with an array of exciting and innovative designer partnerships and brand initiatives taking place and launching during the month. Renowned for creating thoughtful, bespoke collaborations for their guests, One&Only has an impressive heritage of fashion credentials which will be further cemented by these latest and exciting additions.
This year saw One&Only launch its first fashion label of easy-to-wear cotton kaftans, dresses, shorts and shifts with colourful embroidery inspired by each One&Only resort. The collection received such a positive response that the 2016 One&Only Collection is ready to be revealed this November. Consisting of jumpsuits, dresses, shorts, kaftans and shirts in bright colours and print, the new collection will introduce an exciting cut that will fit your holiday wardrobe perfectly.
“The new collection reflects the jewel-like nature of all of our resorts; the prints inspired by the tropical gardens, and the colours inspired by the surroundings at our resorts and complement the print - the perfect blue oceans for example,” comments Preston Schroeder, Director of Retail, One&Only Resorts. “This time we have tried to incorporate the look and feel of our urban resorts too, ensuring the collection is easily wearable at any One&Only around the world, whether at a beach or in a city. The fabric is light and adds to a sense of a carefree holiday spirit.”
Also launching this winter, One&Only Resorts and luxury resort wear designer Marie France Van Damme are collaborating to create the perfect “City to Resort” wardrobe. The women’s capsule collection will include ten versatile resort wear pieces in black and white, and an exclusive print in fabrics such as silk chiffon and silk satin. The collection can be mixed and matched to create multiple looks, from city-to-resort and day-to-night, and was inspired by Marie France’s desire to create a collection that could travel the world in style both on holiday and at home. The complete collection will be available from December at all NEO boutiques and guests will have the opportunity to purchase in advance to have the full collection in their wardrobe upon arrival. The fashion forward Issa will launch the “Tania” this November. The “Tania” is a re-worked version of the iconic Issa drape dress that will now be available in Aquamarine, a colour created exclusively for One&Only resorts. Issa has had somewhat of a rebirth in the past few years since Camilla Al Fayed bought the company, and aims to continue creating dresses that are sophisticated and appeals to all. The “Tania” mirrors One&Only’s beautiful locations in colour and design, adding a relaxed yet luxurious note to your holiday wardrobe and will be available at the various NEO boutiques across the resorts.
Continuing to evolve and enhance its offering for guests, men’s footwear brand Rivieras will launch its latest shoe, Mods Skatelites, with One&Only resorts. The French brand’s ethos is to provide luxury with a sense of calm and to ensure a state of relaxation which emulates the One&Only brand. The shoes will be woven in black and white, with a touch of turquoise, and will provide the perfect footwear to explore, travel, relax or simply unwind in and will be available from November in all NEOs.
One&Only Reethi Rah has also partnered with luxury designer Camilla, and from November 2015 to April 2016, guests can browse through a stunning pop-up store at NEO Beach by Australian designer Camilla Franks. Camilla is well-known for her colourful, vibrant and lively collections which combine intricate craftsmanship, prints and detail to create truly individualistic designs. Camilla’s embellished, print playsuit or bright turquoise feather, crystal beaded bat sleeve dress is ideal for lazy days on the beach followed by cocktails at sunset. The collection will also include bikinis, swimsuits, kaftans in light chiffon, and exclusive Camilla prints.
