Pantry Café collaborates with Senses Dubai
Pre-packed iftar meals delivered by Pantry Café
24 July 2013, Dubai, 2013 – Ramadan is all about making a difference and Pantry Café celebrated the spirit of the holy month by providing bespoke iftar boxes for the kids and staff at Senses Residential and Day Care Centre. Each box was carefully packed and hand delivered to the centre just before iftar. A team of three from Pantry Café went to the centre and helped the staff with distributing the food as well as feeding the kids. The children were delighted and some also helped themselves to more than two servings of the food packs.
Yana M Kalwani, Vice Chairperson, Pantry Café commented:
‘We at Pantry Café have always believed in contributing to the greater good and doing something for the community. I had visited Senses Residential and Day Care Centre last year and was truly inspired by the initiative of the Centre and really wanted to contribute on behalf of Pantry Café. We would be looking for similar activities in the future and make this an on-going part of our strategy.’
The children at Senses are deserving of love and care and the staff always appreciate a helping hand. Bringing food to these kids is a special treat for them because most of their time is spent inside the centre.
