Qatar Tourism Authority awards 94 winners sensational hotel prizes for Iftar, Suhour and short stays during Ramadan
Doha, 26 August 2012: Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) congratulates the 94 winners in their Ramadan newspaper promotion that offered more than one reader the chance to win a sensational hotel voucher from well-known hotels every day. Retaj Hotel, W Doha Hotel, La Cigale Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotel, Concorde Hotel, Ezdan Hotel and Suites, Gulf Paradise Hotel, Mercure Grand Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel offered stunning combinations of Iftar, Suhour, short stays and Spa treatments. The QTA Ramadan competition that ran with Al Arab and Al Watan Newspapers was a call to action to all who live in Qatar to savour Ramadan hospitality this summer and take time to explore local hotels and what they offer.
“Ramadan in Qatar was enhanced this year with the Qatar Tourism Authority’s newspaper competition offering hospitality prizes to more than one winner every day. Thanks to the support of the participating hotels, QTA was able to offer great hotel vouchers for the winning readers to enjoy,” Mr. Abdullah Mallala Al Bader, Head of Tourism at QTA said. “The competition was open to all so that everyone had an equal chance to discover new menus and enjoy splendid rooms in several of Qatar’s hotels. Our Garangao kids’ party in Souq Waqif was another Ramadan initiative that scored such a great success that we are planning to hold a Ramadan Children’s Festival for Garangao next year.”
Qatar’s well known hotels offered vouchers for fantastic combinations of Iftar, Suhour, short stays and Spa treatments, joining in the spirit of Ramadan to support QTA’s latest seasonal initiative.
