In December 2014, the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group signed an agreement with Safehotels – a globally recognised security consultancy. The agreement made Carlson Rezidor the first major international hotel group using the acclaimed independent certification programme to benefit guests, employees and owners. Radisson Blu Hotel, Alexandria completed the Safehotels official certification process, and was today awarded premium level certification.

Safety and security is the base of that core, and having an independent certification confirms that our property complies with a solid, internationally recognised standard”, Says Dalia Amer, General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Alexandria.

During 2015, over 70 selected Rezidor hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa will undergo the Safehotels certification process.
