ROYAL CATERING EXPANDS INNOVATIVE 82L8 BRAND WITH CORPORATE RESTAURANTS ACROSS UAE
Dining outlets offer healthy and nutritious in-house dining for busy professionals
Abu Dhabi, UAE. 3 October 2016 – Abu Dhabi-based, home-grown caterer, Royal Catering, has announced the expansion of 82L8 (Eight to Late) – with their new inhouse corporate dining outlets offering an extensive range of filling and flavourful healthy options for busy professionals in offices across the UAE.
The 82L8 outlets serve a daily, weekday buffet for breakfast and lunch, including a Sunday Special, at selected offices including ADNOC HQ, AECOM, Injazat, Department of Transport, and others.
82L8 Grab & Go items are also available at Liwa Café and other retail outlets, with more restaurants opening over the coming months.
The 82L8 inhouse dining concept offers a turnkey dining solution to companies located in the field or away from town centres and business districts, which provides a fully branded and fitted-out outlet, chefs, kitchen and waiting staff, and daily catering.
82L8’s extensive buffet menu is augmented by 82L8-labelled grab-and-go items, which includes more than 85 mouth-watering choices such as hot pasta dishes, crisp salads, freshly squeezed juices, sandwiches, convenient snack options, and indulgent desserts – inspired by both international and regional cuisine.
82L8 food items are also available in vending machines at various locations, including ADNOC HQ, and in trolley recharge stations in offices across the capital, including ADWEA and Zonescorp.
Prior to its launch last January, Royal Catering’s dedicated team of chefs and qualified nutritionists developed the 82L8 food item menu following months of research, recipe creation and testing.
82L8 showcases a world-class display of scientific-based, nutritional information on all of its products, known as the traffic light labelling system, which was established by the Food Standards Agency in the United Kingdom.
82L8 is also among the first food brands in the UAE to offer an extensive range of WEQAYA-compliant foods – an intervention programme developed by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) that aims to increase public awareness of the connection between health and food, in order to reduce the occurrence of major chronic diseases within the UAE’s population.
All 82L8 menu items are prepared in Royal Catering’s state-of-the-art kitchens, which are among the largest commercial kitchens in the UAE. Operating 24/7 year-round, on-site Quality Control Officers are present during every phase of the food production process to ensure adherence of quality standards.
Jean Pierre Garat, Chief Operations Officer of Royal Catering, said: “Royal Catering prides itself on quality and our 82L8 brand provides consistently high-quality, fresh, and nutritious meals for business people in offices across the UAE.
“Our turnkey solution offers companies the opportunity to ensure staff have restaurant-quality dining inhouse, whether in town or out in the field.”
