Sharjah 1st February 2011: The thrilling spring promotion at the Sahara Centre – the leading family shopping destination in the UAE – is set to get even more exciting as acrobatic sensations from across the globe join the shopping festival to wow visitors with their daring gymnastic feats and awe-inspiring circus acrobatics.
Performing from 3rd – 17th February in the Sahara Centre promotion area, customers will be delighted by ‘Sahara Goes Acrobat’, an eclectic show by renowned masters of the circus. Held between 6pm and 9pm daily, ‘Sahara Goes Acrobat’ will feature a memorable mix of artistes specializing in foot juggling, hand balance, Diablo, the daring hire wire and a spectacular trampoline show.

Acrobats joining the Sahara Centre include juggling duo Tarbeev and Katrina from the Russian State Circus Company Rosgoscirk. Born in a family of professional circus actors and trained at the acclaimed Academy of Theatrical Art in Moscow, Tarbeev and Katrina will amaze the crowds with their balancing skills.
Hire wire spectaculars Alessandro Gillert and Moia Cristina who spent 7 years honing their disciplines as international artistes whilst training in Budapest, Hungary, followed by much circus work and numerous performances in productions throughout Europe and Japan.
And demonstrating their truly masterful feats, trampoline sensations, ‘Flying to the Stars’, all top-class gymnasts finishing from the Republic Training School of Olympic Fund in Russia, and graduating from Kyiv State University of Physical Education and Sport will be a popular show. ‘Flying to the Stars’ career ladder began in Kiev National Circus in 1995 taking part in the 6th International Acrobatic Festival in 1997, in Wuqiao (CWICF), China, where the troupe became the prizewinners of the coveted ‘Bronze Lion’. Developing their artistic talent in Nikulin Moscow Circus at Tsvetnoy Bulvar, the prominent center for the preparation of circus acts for the world stage, and where they still work today, the artists have expressed their mastery in the USA, Europe, Asia, and across the world.
The Sahara Centre’s enticing spring promotion ‘Start your day at Sahara and win AED 2000’, is running from 20th January till 22nd February and offers visitors to the Mall the chance to be rewarded for their purchase with a give-a-way of AED 2000 worth of Sahara Centre gift vouchers every day.
