The Iconic Property Joins Sheraton’s New Premier Tier of Exceptional Hotels and Resorts
Doha- Qatar February 6, 2016— Sheraton Hotels & Resorts announced the designation of Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel as a Sheraton Grand Hotel, welcoming it to the brand’s new premier tier of hotels recognized for their enticing destinations, distinguished designs, and excellence in service and guest experiences. Joining 21 other Sheraton Grand properties in the world, Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel is recognized for being an iconic landmark in Doha for more than 30 years and recently emerged from a complete restoration featuring extraordinary 1980s architecture and design. Sheraton Grand is one of many initiatives currently underway for Sheraton 2020 a comprehensive plan designed to solidify Sheraton as a leading global hotel brand of choice, everywhere.
