Solo welcomes new traditional Wood Fire Pizza creations
Dubai, UAE, November, 2015 – Things are hotting up at SOLO the Italian Bistronomia & Vinobar with the arrival of a large, custom built wood fire pizza oven, a welcome addition to the New York style restaurant ambiance. Since entering the Dubai culinary scene late 2014, the popular dining destination further enhances a renowned selection of traditional Italian pizzas at the hands of Chef Corrado with the rustic flair from the wood fire oven.
The 20 new pizza’s and revitalised signature offerings have been carefully crafted by Chef Corrado and his team at SOLO, noteworthy items include:
Margherita The traditional classic of mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh basil
SOLO’s signature pizza comes with fresh artichokes, mozzarella buffalo, bottarga roe, dry tomatoes and a pistachio paste with basil
Topped with air cured beef bresaola, mozzarella, rucola and parmesan cheese
Gamberi e Zuccini
Fresh mozzarella with prawns served with grilled zucchini and rosemary
Lobster with topinambur and foie gras, served with apples vanilla and porcini mushrooms
Capesante e Fiori di zucca
Sea scallops, zucchini blossom with robiola cheese and confit tomatoes
Pizza Sarda Fresh mozzarella with Sardinia cheese, spicy salami, black olives and fava beans
Tartufo e Fonduta
A mozzarella and parmesan fondue served with asparagus, quail eggs and truffle
